Technical Writer

Technical Writer needed ASAP

1-3 years Experience in role. Responsible for maintaining and modifying existing technical manuals. Will participate in the writing of work instructions, standard work, online web-based documents and documenting technical details. Associates degree in Engineering preferred.

Competencies:
1) Ability to understand and articulate the Eaton's technical requirements and translate their requirements into technical documentation
2) Excellent written/technical communication skills in relation to technical documentation.

To the extent that it is reasonable, goes the extra mile to make sure that each individual's needs are met. Follows up to monitor satisfaction and responds to additional requests or problems quickly. Microsoft Office program knowledge and being proficient is a must. Will work in a fast paced environment. Some outside work looking at outside storage tanks and grounds gathering information for technical documents.

Very little OT if any.

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required
