Technical Writer

Harvey Nash is looking for a Technical Writer for a 1 + month project in Switzerland.
The role is about developing and/or updating process documentation.
- You are
- Proficient at technical documentation
- Excellent in writing and communication and able to express ideas clearly and logically in a variety of media
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to understand complex information technology material and explain it clearly
- Able to establish and maintain good working relationships
Requirements
- 5 years+ experience as a Technical Writer
- Strong IT process analysis skills
- Ability to pick up and document new technologies quickly
- Working knowledge of GxP (Good Clinical Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
- Experience documenting procedures (SOPs) in a Pharmaceutical setting
- Experience writing IT processes and procedures, user guides and adapting to writing style guides
- Experience writing SOPs (must be able to show samples of your past work in this area)
- Experience writing Technical documentation (must be able to show samples of your past work in this area)
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification required with Expert Certification a plus
- Lean Six certification a plus
- Strong organization and management skills (setting up, conducting, and documenting meetings; ensuring follow-ups completed)
- Excellent at facilitating process improvement efforts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; very detailed oriented
- Ability to translate complex processes into concise, traceable, reproducible and accurate instructions
- Excellent facilitation of and resolution of conflicts
- Good independent work skills (accomplish objectives with minimal supervision)
- Ability to multi-task easily (eg, work on updating multiple documents on different topics at one time)
- Ability to work in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
