Technical Writer

Yoh has an ongoing contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL WRITER to join our client in Quantico, VA.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE, HOWEVER, ONE MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Application of subject matter knowledge, enforcement of technical writing standards, and style guides.
- Works complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- SME in technical writing, and document development process and procedures.
- Enter in "Qualifications" field of Taleo (Internal and External, replace pre-populated generic content.)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Seven (7) years of related experience in supporting IT engineering Design, Release, and validation
- Strong Technical Writing experience
