Yoh has a one (1) year contract opportunity for a TECHNICAL WRITER to join our client, Applied Materials/Varian Semiconductor Equipment located in Gloucester, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts
- Compiles technical data and writes or revises complex procedures for operations concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of electro-mechanical processing equipment.
- Create/develop manufacturing build procedures.
- Deliver finished product in electronic format with minimal supervision.
- Consults with various technical personnel to clarify details of source materials.
- Coordinates with Engineers and Production Personnel to acquire or verify knowledge of subject.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of technical documentation.
- Review documents prepared by other Tech-writers for content and clarity.
- Uses computer skills and technical knowledge to research and generate/update customer specific manuals, in fulfillment of corporate agreements, based on SAP reports, Product Support Bulletins, Engineering Change Orders, and user feedback.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) plus years related industry experience

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- BA/BS Degree is preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
