RESPONSIBILITIES

- Defines and documents the methods & procedures necessary for the Tier 2 Developer Support Engineers to support the company's community of internal and external developers who are creating applications on a new company platform.
- Works closely with product, marketing, and development teams to understand new Platform functionality being released, with the goal of creating the associated training and procedural documentation for the Tier 2 Developer Support Engineers.
- Attends workshops and planning sessions with a critical mindset, focused on understanding the support-team impacts of all new development.
- Creates user stories on behalf of Developer Support Engineers and ensure they are prioritized and scoped appropriately.
- Gathers and organizes information from a variety of sources.
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of each new functionality being released, and helps define the end-to-end support model for each.
- Creates, assimilates, and conveys technical information in a concise and effective manner through charts, manuals, and M&P's.
- Simplifies complex concepts and processes to maximize reader comprehension.
- Creates professional, error-free technical documentation.

SKILLS

Must adapt well to new technology and terminology. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio required. Must be able to understand/communicate technical information concisely. An Operations and/or Support background is needed. Must be proactive, self-directed, detailed and organized, customer/stakeholder focused, with a process oriented mindset.
