Technical Writer

Our client is a hugely popular computer components company in need of a talented Technical Writer to learn storage driver technical requirements and write associated User Interface Help file content. This individual may also be called upon to create process or procedure documents.

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 5 years' experience in tech writing
- BA/BS college degree
- At least 5 years of software tech writing experience
- Experience authoring Help content
- Related high technology industry experience
- HTML experience

NICE TO HAVE

- Understanding of XAML/WPF, XML tools such as Xmetal
- Authoring of UI content
- Help content development in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with version control tools - Perforce experience a plus
- Experience using project tracking tools
- Experience using SharePoint
- Experience with localization projects a plus

Estimated length of assignment: 12 months with option for 6 months extension
