Technical Test Engineer - Risk Methodologies (4513)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a

TECHNICAL TEST ENGINEER - RISK METHODOLOGIES (4513)

Your role is to develop and support a strategic calculation platform in the area of Firm Wide Methodology. The platform enables business users to DEVELOP RISK CALCULATIONS USING TOOLS LIKE MATLAB, SAS, R, STATA and to automate and orchestrate the deployment and running of the calculations for delivering reporting to the financial regulators and shareholder through a reporting application.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- SEVERAL YEARS WORKING EXPERIENCE AS A TEST ENGINEER, PREFERABELY TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE IN RISK MODELS DATA ANALYSIS/STATISTICS
- PROFICIENT/HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE AT LEAST ONE ANY PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON R, PYTHON, MATLAB, SAS
- PROFICIENCY IN ADVANCED EXCEL FUNCTIONS (EG, CREATING FORMULAS, MACROS, STATISTICAL CALCULATIONS) AND TEST AUTOMATION
- EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY CENTER FOR DEFECT TRACKING AND FOR TEST CASES EXECUTION AND JIRA
- Skilled in understanding Software Requirement Specification and identified the required Test Scenarios
- Designed tests utilizing appropriate Specification, Structural, Defect and experience based Test Techniques
- Performed Functional and Non-Functional Testing
- Experience in Test Driven Development or replicating models in Excel or other platform to verify numbers/statistical calculations
