Technical Test Engineer (German Speaker)

For my large banking client based in Zurich, Switzerland we are looking for a: TECHNICAL TEST ENGINEER

LOCATION: ZURICH

START: 01.02.2013

DURATION: 6 MONTHS+ (POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH MANDATORY AND GERMAN BIG ADVANTAGE

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Conduct performance, scalability and stability assurance, across a diverse range of applications
- Responsibility for analysing the dynamic behaviour of systems under load
- Identify and resolve root causes of performance, scalability or stability issues

SKILLS:

- Must have: a graduate or postgraduate level of education majoring in Information Technology
- Must have: Multiple years of software development experience in Java (JEE) and a good understanding of C
- Must have: Experience in performance analysis of complex IT systems, covering technologies such as Unix/Linux, Oracle, JEE (any container)
- Must have: Weblogic configuration experience
- Good to have: Previous experience using load generation tools (LoadRunner, Grinder, JMeter, etc)
- Good to have: Interest in statistical analysis and the ability to convey this information into an effective reporting format
- Fluency in English is essential and a good understanding of German is advantageous
