Technical Test Designer/Tester (Preferable Developer background)

We are looking for a Technical Test Designer/Tester (Preferable Developer background) for a 2-3 months assignment in Goteborg, Sweden.

The Test Designer/Tester shall:

- Contribute to the test design through understanding of the requirements, the application and the infrastructure. Write effective test cases - mainly test automization, ieSoapUI.
- Understand the implications of a REST API.
- Update the automated test cases and retest the application after requirement changes and defect correction.
- Write scripts and applications necessary for testing as well as for automated testing of the application.
- Evaluate delivered design and specifications for testability.
- Support suppliers and internal stakeholders in their test design and test execution. Verify supplier's and internal stakeholders' test results.

Tasks:

- Write, update and inspect test cases, test scripts and applications/infrastructure.
- Maintaining the test ware within the project, for manual and automated testing.
- Execute tests.
- Retest defects.
- Retest the application after requirement changes.
- Providing support to testers and test automaton team during test execution.
- Analyze and understand the requirements.
- Evaluate delivered design and specifications for testability.
- Reporting to test- and project team both verbally and in writing.
- Communicate issues and problem.

- SoapUI
- Experience/knowledge in Cloud-solutions
- Knowledge about REST API in particular and web services in general.
- Java/Groovy
- HTTP
- Interface testing
- Handling of security certificates
