JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL TEST ANALYST

CONTRACT RATE: EURO 370 PER DAY

CONTRACT LENGTH: INITIAL 3 MONTHS WITH EXTENSION TO 1.5 YEARS

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultancies, is looking to recruit a Contract Technical Test Analyst to join their client in The Hague.

DESCRIPTION

The consultant will perform the following tasks/services:

- Taking the lead and advising on the test analysis, design and execution of specific parts related to a large monolithic core solution currently being re-engineered to a micro service-based application;
- Design, code and execute new automated REST-API tests based on triggered by continuous integration of builds;
- Design and execute data migration and system integration tests;
- Design and execute tests on data integration, analysis and reporting services based on OLAP cubes
- Design and execute manual test scripts of the Solution;
- Design and execute performance test scripts;
- Design and execute data migration tests;
- Creating representative test data for the Solution.

QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting functional testing of ICT solutions
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, coding and executing automated API tests of REST services
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting complex system integration / data migration testing
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in testing Business Intelligence solutions based on OLAP cubes
- compose suitable Test Documentation;
- define suitable acceptance criteria;
- review structurally work products from other teams.
- Knowledge of how to design, code and execute complex system integration / data migration tests
- Knowledge of how to design, code and execute functional automated API tests on REST services
- Knowledge of SQL commands in the following areas: DDL (Data Definition Language), DML (Data Manipulation Language), DCL (Data Control Language) & TCL (Transaction Control Language)

DESIRABLE:

- Knowledge of how to design, code and execute functional tests on Business Intelligence solutions based on OLAP cubes & ETL jobs
- Knowledge of how to conduct performance testing of web applications/services
- Knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB terminology, (demonstrated by passing the relevant certification exam(s))
- Knowledge of testing the following Software Quality Characteristics: Functionality, Technical Security, Usability, Efficiency, Reliability & Maintainability
