Technical Support Specialist - London - 6 month contract

Technical Support Specialist is required by a financial services company based in central London. The Technical Support Specialist will involve offering 2nd / 3rd line support for the companies applications, so the client is looking for candidates who have exposure to a range of technologies including Development, Middleware, and Database.

Experience needed for Technical Support Specialist:
Demonstrable experience of working in a demanding mission critical high availability environment.
Strong general knowledge of infrastructure and applications technologies coupled with a troubleshooting and problem solving capability.
Ability to work under pressure to meet both project and service deadlines.
Detailed understanding of core ITIL process and procedures
Worked with or can demonstrate a good detailed understanding of SOA technologies and concepts
