This is an entry level TECH SUPPORT position requiring general office or business skills, learning basic functions and providing support to senior level staff. The candidate would perform administrative tasks associated with the service desk. Working under close supervision, this role is narrow in scope and highly structured. There will be continual review of work completed and specific instructions provided, usually in the form of written procedures.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform administrative tasks associated with the service desk to include but not limited to; performing communications, creating/updating and distributing daily reports, managing group mailbox, performing basic Active Directory functions under supervision from senior staff members and manage associated tickets.
- Work collaboratively, be an active team member and follow process improvement efforts within the department.
- Acquire and apply job skills along with company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Work on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.
- Act with a sense of urgency to successfully complete work on time.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent training/education required
- Entry level - 2 years of experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office products
- Enterprise system exposure beneficial
- Ability to follow documented handling procedures under the direction and guidance of senior staff members

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
