TECHNICAL SUPPORT ANALYST

SKILLS: WINDOWS XP AND WINDOWS 2007, MCAFEE SECURITY SUITE

SUMMARY:
Provides technology support to offices under direction of the Regional Technology Support Manager.  This includes end user support of PC's; laptops; peripherals; and mobile devices.  Works with Infrastructure and Operations team on network related troubleshooting and deployment.  Provides second level Help Desk support; working with the level one Help Desk team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Installs; analyzes and troubleshoots as necessary desktops; laptops; mobile devices; printers; monitors; and all peripherals in assigned offices(s) Routers; VPN devices and provides status reports on regional trends and activity.
- Responds to Windows OS; Lotus Notes; Siebel; Lawson and other supported software problems.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of two years hardware/software experience in a support capacity required.
- Windows XP and Windows 2007 required
- Lotus Notes client a plus
- MS Office required, 2010 preferred
- McAfee Security Suite knowledge
- Communication protocols required    
- IPX, NetBEUI, and TCP/IP are required
- Ethernet network topology required
- CompTIA A+ and MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional Current certification required - or demonstrated equivalent experience.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

- MCSA - Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
- MCSE - Microsoft
- Strong knowledge of desktops, laptops and mobile devices, as well as network.
