My client, a leading high street retailor has an urgent opportunity for a Technical Solutions Architect to provide support to their Systems eCommerce team.
The successful candidate will with the team to shape the future strategy for online channels; Mobile web, apps & browser, using architectural best practice coupled with a deep experience of defining Provide strategic guidance on the latest technologies and how they can be used to benefit the business. Take responsibility for architecture & delivery of solutions based on WebSphere commerce suite and others such as search & recommendations systems. Carry Technical responsibility for eCommerce portfolio of change and maintain the overall technology vision, whilst assisting the development teams in delivering solutions in manageable stages.
The successful candidate must have proven experience within an eCommerce/ Multi channel Solutions architect role delivering long term road maps and solutions. You will have a clear understanding of online retailing, along with upcoming developments in the industry. Recent experience with operational and non functional aspect of commerce systems, as well as an understanding of how to architect to service levels. Experience of service improvement models and how to scope and drive these Projects. Technical expertise in IBMs WebSphere Commerce solution portfolio (ideally incorporating WCS 6&7) and other associated IBM Enterprise solutions such as WebSphere application server, DB2, LUW, AIX, Java, RAD). You will have the ability to provide quality assurance, estimation, planning and commercial input across the Programme. Experience within Grocery Retail eCommerce solutions delivery is very desirable. This is a 6 month contract with scope of extending to 24. Please send CVs in WORD format only.
