Technical Solution Design Consultant

RP INTERNATIONAL ARE RECRUITING A TECHNICAL SOLUTION DESIGN CONSULTANT to contribute to an exciting project for a major client located in PHILADELPHIA, PA. We have high performance standards and actively promote an environment of creativity and innovation.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Document business, functional and technical requirements and Design for BSS/OSS
- Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) review sessions with Users, Business Owners and Technical experts
- Assist development teams in translating the functional, technical and business requirements into technical specifications
- Review and provide feedback on developed training content
- Review and assist in finalizing the User Acceptance Test cases
- Develop designs for integration points and leverage technical architects where needed
- Identify impact assessment on system releases and assist in defining technical solution
- Define entity and data model in order to support new and existing requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ years of requirement writing experience
- 3+ years of process and procedure documentation experience
- 3+ years of experience of engaging the customers in JRD sessions
- 3+ years of experience in designing J2EE solutions
- 3+ years of experience building J2EE applications
- Demonstrate high level of written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Demonstrate good understanding of Telecommunications industry domain
- Demonstrate good understanding of BSS/OSS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
- Open to travel 100%

PREFERRED:

- Previous experience working in commercial BSS/OSS architectures.
- Flexibility to meet and exceed company and client expectations
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation
- Demonstrated poise, confidence and professional maturity to interface with senior-level executives in a clear and concise manner
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments
- Experience in a consulting and/or IT environment is preferred
- Experience in meeting deadlines in a high pressure environment
