Technical Security Advisor - Brussels - 515 Euros per day

My client, an Investment Bank based in Brussels, requires a TECHNICAL SECURITY ADVISOR.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT

Execute vulnerability management process

Coordinate Infrastructure and application vulnerability detection by leveraging scanning (Qualys) to detect vulnerabilities on a defined set of IT assets

Coordinate external Penetration Testing engagements

Coordinate vulnerabilities remediation activities with IT departments.

SECURITY CONTROL POINT CHANGE VALIDATION:

Validate perimeter access rules within boundaries of predefined security policies

Liaise with network security team to regularly define, review and update process exceptions.

EDUCATION & SOFT SKILLS

- University degree in IT or science or an engineering degree, with a strong IT background
- Strong and proven Communication and Influencing skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment with a strong team spirit
- Ability to manage time and priorities efficiently and to work under stress
- Results-oriented
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude

EXPERIENCE:

- 1- 5 years' experience in an IST environment.
- Project Management skills

MANDATORY

- Good understanding of IT security technology and processes (secure networking, web infrastructure, WinTEL, UNIX, etc.)
- Working experience with Vulnerability Management

PREFERABLE

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional CISSP
- Web Application Security Development. (OWASP)
- Capable of quickly understanding, analysing and documenting detailed processes in Information Security
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (CBFA, EU laws, etc.), international security standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
