Technical Sales Engineer

TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER PALO ALTO, CA 9 MONTH CONTRACT

Our hugely popular client is seeking experienced, talented, energetic and self-driven individuals to join the Ad Technology team focused on publisher display products. The publisher display platform provides innovative products and state-of-the-art online advertising solutions for publishers and developers built with large-scale, distributed web services utilizing the latest technologies. As part of a fast-growing team, you will work closely with web publisher customers as their primary technical contact to ease onboarding and insure customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a candidate who can build products that improve publisher and developer experience and increase monetization.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

- Serve as a technical contact for web publisher customers to ease onboard from the pre-deal through post deal
- Work closely with business development, account management and product management teams as a technical consultant for customer integrations
- Convey technical requirements to web publishers
- Identify and solve technical issues
- Assume customer satisfaction through the integration cycle
- Identify new product requirements and features for development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least 2 years of experience building large-scale web applications
- At least 2 years of experience with Front End systems and technologies (JavaScript)
- At least 2 years working directly with customers and/or external partners
- At least 2 years of experience with online advertising systems
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working directly with customers/external partners
- Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Good communication skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business users
- Familiarity with ad serving technologies such as DoubleClick (DART, DFP), OAS, Atlas, etc.
- Some knowledge and working experience with Ruby, Rails, PHP or other Scripting languages
- Experience working with different browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
