Technical Project Manager - SAN/Storage/Enterprise Backup

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER - this contract opportunity is to plan and implement Storage and Backup related projects and to work with stakeholders, providers and vendors.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Member of the Base Services Project Delivery team
- Planning and implementation of Storage and Backup related projects
- Work with the technical staff, management, providers, consultants and vendors to ensure all projects are tracked and delivered to the expected quality standards.
- Maintain respective project documentation

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Project Management and coordination methodology
- Proven Distributed Storage and Enterprise Backup experience in a Project or Support role (3+ years preferred)
- Proven experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) in a Project or Support role (3+ years preferred)
- Experience in customer/client facing roles is advantageous
- Experience in outsourcing environments is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment, working daily with multiple remote sites
- Experience with technical documentation specification, review and updates - in English
- ITIL knowledge
- Microsoft Suite of products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
