Summary
This role is responsible for the management of multiple projects with a clear set of deliverables, an approved budget, assigned resources and an agreed timeframe. The project could be either stand alone or part of a larger project.

The project manager will be required to engage the appropriate skills across multiple business units to deliver the projects as required.

The key performance indicators that the Project Manager will be measured against time to deliver and cost of delivery, actual against plan. Acceptance of solution by the customer, financial outcomes of the assignment and compliance of solutions to the strategic direction.

The project manager will regularly report the status of key performance indicators for their projects and will escalate any issues as appropriate.

The project manager will have a line management reporting line to the program manager for project governance

For the delivery of projects the reporting line will depend on the governance of the project they are working on.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

- Proven Project management skills with up to 5 years of relevant experience managing medium size projects
- Experience in communicating and influencing at a senior level
- Experience in managing OSS related application projects within the telecommunications industry
- Computer literacy including software tools
- Negotiation and mediation skills
- People management skills
- Ability to question
- Technology Aware
- Anticipates difficulties and identifies contingency plans
- Financially literate
- Consultative nature when dealing with customers
- Ability to commercially engage vendors and clients
- Able to form relationships with customer and vendor organisations
