Technical Project Manager (New Data Center Build) 6-8 Month Contract

Technical Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Manager, Independent Contractor, VMware, Cisco, Netapp, MS Office, MS Project, Atlanta, GA based.

Our UK based International client has an urgent need to engage an Independent Contractor to deliver a new US data center infrastructure to mirror the established UK facility. The task will be to assume responsibility for ensuring robust project management of large infrastructure projects with an initial emphasis on the deployment of services from the UK and US data centers. The requirement is for an accomplished Technical Project Manager to be the primary point of contact for the project team, customers and 3rd party contractors for this new build. The role will report into the UK and some travel will be involved.

For consideration candidates will need the following experience:

- Proven ability to deliver technical projects on-time and to budget in a multi-site environment
- First class project management skills and MS Project experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- First class problem solving skills
- Technical knowledge including Windows Server, SQL, Cisco, Netapp, VMware and MS Office
- At least 3 years experience in a Technical Project Management capacity

Previous experience of data center builds would be advantageous. Immediate start. Telephone interviews will be arranged for suitable Atlanta based candidates.
