Technical Project Manager - Digital Biomarker - iOS - Android - Scrum

NextLink is a Swiss IT consultancy company that has been providing both IT services and IT staffing to major customers for the past 20 years.
NextLink is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to work for a well-known pharma company based in Basel, Switzerland.

THE PROGRAM FOCUS:

- Design digital biomarkers: Define ways to capture clinical outcomes using sensor data collected from smartphones and wearables
- Develop apps and data processing pipeline: Establish processes, software, and infrastructure to handle big data collected from sensors in clinical trials
- Deploy digital biomarkers to clinical studies: Generate data to validate approaches and support decision making
- Analyse and interpret sensor data: Identify signals for disease severity and progression in sensor data collected from patients in trials

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage Digital Biomarker software implementation and integration projects
- Manage software development teams with between 5-10 people
- Ensure software development best practices are adhered to
- Manage releases of software into productive use

MUST HAVES:

- Very good university degree (MSc. level or above) in computer science, business informatics, or similar
- Alternative to an MSc university degree: 4+ years software development experience- 4+ years in technical project management
- Profound knowledge of best software development practices
- Experience with Android and iOS software development projects
- Experience in a mature software development organisation
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology (SCRUM preferred)
- Familiarity with functional requirement models like use cases or user stories

NICE TO HAVE:

- German speaking
- Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with clinical studies
- Scientific computing/software development background
