SUMMARY:
Goal Manage the implementation of all technical aspects of the technical Customer Project, in terms of scope/feature content, delivery date and quality of the technical solution, from offer preparation through deployment activities and customer acceptance. Technical Manager coordinates tasks between customer, Solution Architects, Product Line Managers, Project Managers and peers in the Services organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical Project Management following the different process groups of project management as Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing. Dedication to Technical Scope, Responsibility Matrix, Schedule, Deliverable(s) identification, Dashboard reporting, Risk/Issue mitigation etc.
- Prime interface for customer Technical Managers for all technical aspects.
- Provides mentorship, knowledge transfer and technical support to project team members.
- Coordinate technical solutions and discussions across multiple internal teams.
- Develop and maintain resource plan of the technical delivery resourcing.
- Technical tracking of customer issues/alerts and product announcement.
- Define Architecture & Test Plan - Capture customer requirements to create customer Network Architecture or Use Cases.
- Lead solution discussions focusing about a) High/Low Level Designs, b) Pilot Validations and c) Integration Troubleshooting.
- Creation of best practices, and test/document solutions.
- Provides feedback to R&D/PLM teams regarding features & performances needed.
- Support Services Tendering Team on High-Level Solutions and Effort estimations.
Skills:
- Technical management experience in IP designs, integrations & migrations of large networks.
- Strong expertise in Core and Edge IP routing technologies/protocols (IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF/ISIS, MPLS-RSVP, LDP, QoS, Security, L2-VPN, L3-VPN, ) with Nokia Service Routing Certifications NRS 1, NRS 2 and Triple Play Professional.
- Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, concepts and related technologies.
- Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
- Knowledgeable on Data Center architectures.
- Proven Knowledge or strong understanding of Project Management Tools and Methodology (PMBOK, Agile)
