Our Automotive client is looking for a Project Manager for the Electronic Electrical parts and functions of Diesel engines.
He/She is a contributor on engine project managed by Engine PM, and/or on Fuel Injection Systems managed by Common Rail department.
PROJECT MANAGER WORK DESCRIPTION:
Before Start of Development and project approval, the PM defines the scope of supply of AC department according to the project objectives.
The PM write a Project Management Plan (PMP) for common understanding and agreement on requirements, activities, costs, planningsoftware functions, hardware, validations, sensors/actuators, harness & diagnostics, as a whole for the project,
The PM is the key interface with the customer and/or with the Engine PM
The PM organize his/her activities according the project management processes: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, closing
The PM plan ahead all project activities and then check the variance during the project development
The PM provide to the management regular status report on highlights, risks, planning & costs.
The PM manage the change request by analysing their impact and getting formal approval before implementation
The PM rely on line technical expertise,
The PM has in addition to an obligation of means an obligation of result towards the achievement of the project as committed
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Must have Automotive experience,
Must have Electronic technical background (engineering graduate in electronics),
1-3 years PM experience in the same position is required,
Project Management Processes,
Project Management Professional Certification preferred but not mandatory,
Planning oriented
Customer/Supplier relationship
Supplier management,
Embedded electronic,
Organized, methodic,
Synthesis writing skills,
Communication skills,
Network skills,
Leadership
Accurate,
Fluent in French and German or English
