Technical Project Manager

TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER REDMOND, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an intuitive and driven Project Manager to support and drive projects. The ideal candidate for this position has proven experience in Project Management, able to manage multiple projects from their inception through their execution.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying team and project needs and requirements, documenting the scope and detailed specification for the project, coordination of project resources and schedules, communicating of project status (both written and verbal), and managing the projects in a proactive way that minimizes delays and surprises and delivers top notch results. The PM will work closely with researchers, designers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in a highly collaborative environment.

TASKS TO INCLUDE:

- Working on multiple projects at once
- Scoping a project: scoping problems, writing a spec, documenting dependencies and costs
- Driving a project: keeping a team executing towards the completion of a project using schedules, status mails, daily stand up meetings, addressing unexpected issues
- Keep stakeholders informed: reaching out proactively and provide status mails and represent the projects in meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3-5 years of experience in program management for high-quality consumer electronic products
- Strong project management, communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to leverage a variety of technologies to track and manage projects
- Experience shipping products spanning multiple platforms
- Specific skills using Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Product Studio
- Must be a self-starter, proactive, organized, detail-oriented and results-driven
