Technical Project Manager

Flint are seeking a Technical Project Manager as part of an integration project on a client mobile packet core network integration project. This role is based in Wellington New Zealand, and candidates should have the required work permits or right to work in this location.

DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for the management of the planning, integration and Testing of this integration project. As technical Project Manager you be able to take part in technical discussions related to the project

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Develop & support integration of a Master Project schedule.

Develop a project communications and reporting plan.

Identify key milestones and success parameters for continuous and management

Track and report on IT Integration, Core IOT and Transport integration.

Anticipate & manage milestone gating risks and implement mitigation plans.

Identify key go-no-go decision points for gating milestone contingency planning.

Provide notification, escalation and communication for key "misses" and root cause analysis if necessary.

Interface internally with management in accordance with planning, execution and acceptance needs.

REQUIRED COMPETENCY:

Candidate must have proven project management success in MPC Network Integration and/or Implementation Projects.

Proven experience in mobile packet core deployment. Hands on integration is a plus.

Overall management of teams and assigned projects including coordination, status reporting, financials, scope, schedules, etc.

Utilizing and implementing project management methodologies that ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, adhere to a high quality standard, and meet customer's requirements
