Primary Project Location Information: FARMERS BRANCH, TX

Project Description: (What project will the NPW be working on?)

STANDARDIZED JOB ROLE
Responsible for all aspects of technical project and program management
Manage high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex, and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers
Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors
Leads large cross functional teams to manage programs within allotted timeline and budget
Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion program/project(s) across the entire organization
Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Leads program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis
Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews program/project deliverables
Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Preferred Masters of Science or Masters of Business or equivalent experience
Typically requires 8-10 years experience
Proven large complex project management experience
IT Cost Management/Project Management CM/PM tool experience
Some assignments may require previous Telco experience PMP Certification desired

The LTE Market PMs as they relate to the program to deploy LTE as ~20,000 cell sites in 2013. There is projected to be a total of 45 LTE Market PMs managing the work required to launch clusters of LTE sites. These LTE Market PMs are booked to a CFAS project that is a part of the $6.2B LTE Program for 2013. The PMs manage hundreds of sites simultaneously and booking to their time to individual sites would not be practical.

Job Description: (What will the NPW do on that project?)
Conduct end to end project management of large or multiple large projects.
Works as a team member or runs individual projects and is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.
Clarifies project scope and objectives, coordinates activities of a project team, and identifies resources and implementation strategy.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis, including project interdependencies.
Ensure adherences to quality standards, internal processes and reviews project deliverables.
Provides team leadership driving the technical and analytical requirements from the project team.
Recommends and takes action to drive the analysis and solutions of problems.
Collaborates across multiple functions within the company to drive project results.
Drive large complex projects to completion from conception to implementation deployment.
Lead cross functional teams to deliver the defined solutions within the allotted timeline and budget.
Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations, markets and outside suppliers/vendors.
Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Drive the team to resolve all issues and roadblocks within a timely fashion.
Serve as a liaison between various teams/organization.
Manage project budget, schedule, communication, deliverables, risks and progress reporting.
Communication with stakeholders, internal clients, external vendors and executive leadership as required.
Identify and report on risks and jeopardies using the PMATT tool (project management tracking tool).
Ensure that critical path dates are base lined and managed effectively.
Ensure quality execution and deployment of programs and projects
Deliver Program Management Deliverables (ie, hand-off package) timely and thoroughly

ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIRED SKILLS
LTE deployment experience
RAN deployment experience
Knowledge of telecommunications network infrastructure
Project Management structure and life cycle, cellular network deployment and cellular network infrastructure including ability to assimilate complex technical interdependencies that may drive project requirements.
Telecommunications Network knowledge
Wireless/Cellular Network deployment experience
Expert in Wireless Engineering Principles
Strong project/program management experience
Understanding of Network Equipment/Architecture systems and operations Minimum 8 Years' experience managing large complex Network Technical projects
Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
Be able to recognize and solve problems quickly
Process oriented MS Office software suite, and MS Project.
PMP Certification is a plus.
Preferred Bachelor of Business/Engineering/Math/Science degree or equivalent experience.
