My client, a leading automotive manufacturer based in Gaydon, Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a Technical Project Leader for their Electrical Engineering division on a long term contract basis.

Position:Technical Project Leader

Position Description:
This position is for a technical project lead who will be required to plan, project manage and provide technical solutions/direction into the ODX/OTX introduction project against a 24 Month transformation timing plan, delivering integrated tooling solution, process definition and ODX authoring guidelines. The candidate will be required to liaise with multiple suppliers to align delivery of solutions against programme timing, also working closely with CoCs to capture their requirements and define the correct and appropriate application through ODX/OTX.

Skills Required:
An initiative driven approach to problem resolution, with an ability to manage change and support an environment of continuous improvement. Very Good knowledge of ODX, OTX and ASAM standards Comprehensive and proven understanding of Diagnostic Standards (incl ISO14229 UDS on CAN). An Appreciation of System level level. Previous experience of delivering solutions relating to ODX and OTX, Good documentation skills, MS Office (word, visio, etc.), Good negotiation skills, ability to build relationships with other areas.

Skills Preferred:
Good understanding of Automotive Electrical Systems Good understanding of Automotive Diagnostics.

Experience Required:
Proven project delivery experience, ideally in cross functional and devolved responsibility teams. Experience in systems, SW build, integration and release. Experience of working within an Agile SW development team and practical knowledge of these working practices.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of processes and systems, ideally; PCS, eTracker, IVS, iPLM projects.

Education Required:
Minimum Degree level education in a technical subject.

Education Preferred:
BSc or equivalent.
