TECHNICAL PRODUCT OWNER

For one of my internationally leading banking clients I am urgently looking for an experienced TECHNICAL PRODUCT OWNER WITH STRONG BANKING BACKGROUND INCLUDING PRIOR EXPERIENCE AS EITHER A SOFTWARE, INFRA, SYSTEM ENGINEER, ARCHITECT OR ANY OTHER TECHNICAL PRODUCT OWNER ROLE WHO UNDERSTANDS PSD2 AND OPEN BANKING API'S.

As a technical Product Owner the purpose of your team is to connect to the PSD2 and Open Banking API's across Europe in a standardized, scalable and reliable way. In the coming years all EU (SEPA region) banks will expose their API's for account aggregation and payment initiation. You will be responsible as the Technical Product Owner for two development teams to make the connections available (access-to-accounts) via our clients REST API to their app and other clients (mainly within their Business Units). You work in close collaboration with the engineers in an international context. From your experience you can easily prioritize between what's important now and what can be picked up later. Our clients stack consist of Java micro-services deployed in containers managed by Kubernetes. Furthermore our client uses Cassandra, Kafka and Spark. Therefore experience with one of these technologies is a pre.

You are eager to learn and use (new) technologies and you are on the lookout for new tools that could help our client achieve their goals. You will be adaptable at switching easily between operational tasks (working with the team to refine the stories) and more strategic work (discussions with senior management or architects about the directions).

THE SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT OWNER WILL HAVE:
* A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable
* Experience as a software engineer is a pre
* Knowledge of Oauth, web-services, REST, security.
* Experience as a product owner in a multi-disciplinary complex environment
* Experience in Agile/scrum or in the role as scrum master* Stacks consisting of Java micro-services deployed in containers managed by Kubernetes.* Either Cassandra, Kafka or Spark
* The ability to speak and write English (DUTCH IS A PREFERENCE)
* Good social and communication skills
