Technical Payments Consultant

Role: Technical Payments Consultant
Location: London
Rate: £600 - £650 per day, fully negotiable

Our client, a large financial services company, is currently looking to recruit a number of Technical Payments Consultants to run their payments systems. In this role you will be working on large scale business and IT transformation programmes covering all elements of the operating model and IT architectural design. Working in the Technical Payments area, you will have the opportunity to use your payment knowledge to build robust strategic frameworks and business improvement models.

In this role, you will have:
*Proven experience of project work within the Financial Services Industry
*Deep knowledge of Technical Payments gained within large Financial Institution or Consultancy
*Technical Payments knowledge (Retail & Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Cards and Emerging Payment Methods including, but not limited to:
oBACS
oCHAPS
oSWIFT
oFaster payments
oInternational payments
*Experience of process re-engineering
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to confidently liaise with senior managers and clients, conveying complex ideas and developing project deliverables
*A strong drive, resilience and a passion for excellence
*Experience of working both as a part of and leading teams to deliver project deliverables
*Excellent experience using MS Office applications (eg Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
*An understanding of the latest trends within the payment industry
*Payments regulatory environment experience.
*Strong stakeholder management toolkit
*Experience of change management (methodologies & delivery)
