Technical Manager

Technical Manager - Contract -Aberdeen My client based in Aberdeen is urgently seeking a fully certified and experienced Technical Manager. The ideal candidate will be fully CISCO certified with an in-depth knowledge of networking solutions and additionally will have previously specialised in Technical Management and Network Engineering. Responsibilities will include: * Managing the technical department including the network division and effectively managing budgets and resources. * Developing the technical skills of the engineers to ensure a consistent and premium level of service is provided to all customers. * Designing network solutions to suit clients needs. * Project Managing all IT projects * Developing internal and external working relationships. * Researching and identifying new products and suppliers to meet requirements and to maximise profit and ultimately increasing sales portfolio. * Process improvement * Participation in management meetings and reporting as required Essential Skills Required: * Degree in relevant subject * CISCO certifications and any other relevant IT qualifications * In-depth knowledge of networking solutions and server infrastructure. * Management experience * Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering key projects on-time and within budget. * Previous experience of implementing process improvement and creating process documentation. * Previous experience of staff management and development * Excellent written & verbal communication skills * Experience of budget management Applicants are additionally required to have a full UK driving licence and must be fully eligible to work in theUK.
