Technical Manager

One of our key clients is currently seeking a Technical Manager to join their team for an initial 6 month contract located in Sydney's CBD.

The Technical Manager is primarily responsible for working with various stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery of technical and infrastructure requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

- Central point of contact and provide status updates as required to stakeholders with regards to the co-ordination of technical integration activities.
- Maintain accurate system and process documentation for integration activities.
- Review and provide input into program schedules and delivery planning to ensure that all technical components covering hardware and software have been evaluated.
- Coordinate the successful transition of project documentation between stakeholders by ensuring that all technical components comply with system requirements.
- 7 + years in a similar role
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Formal qualifications in IT, data networks, electronics or a related discipline or substantial relevant experience.
- Strong technical background in either IT, Smartcard based solutions and data networking preferably within a transport environment.
- Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal)
