Technical Lead - PCRF & Signaling Router

A Technical Lead required for a contract based in Paris.

Responsible for design, implementation, upgrading and supporting the deployment across customers in Schengen region. This role requires travel in Europe once per month.

Requirements:
- Strong technical background and a good understanding of Tekelec BNS Session Management product line. This includes the following Session Management products: PCRF & Diameter Signaling Router.
- Services provided may include initial system implementation, network design and integration, system provisioning, capacity analysis, special feature implementation, test planning (ATP) and other services as specified by a statement of work.
- Service delivery activities include on-site and remote implementation of new systems, technical discussions and explanations of proposed solutions with customers, development of methods of procedure and other support as required by the customer.

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform Migration, upgrade, configuration on Tekelec PCRF/Diameter Product line.
*Develop, prepare, validate, and execute action plans
*Perform Software and Firmware upgrades on products in live customer networks.
*Perform the migrations, new feature and functionality testing at customer location.
*Has to directly interact with the customers.
*Participate in Product reviews to ensure necessary support mechanisms are in place.
*Provide solutions to technical problems concerning system design and peformance.
*Test/develop and verify software fixes.
*Provide on-site assistance in problem resolution and user assistance when necessary.
*Recommend/execute new procedures to enhance the resolution of system degradation.
*Ability to take control of outage recovery and manage recovery bridges.

Experience:
*8yrs experience in the telecommunication industry with specialization in professional support activities of packet core network systems especially PCRF and Diameter.
*PCRF and Diameter protocol (Gx, Cx, Rx, Sh etc ) expertise is must
*Must have hands on experience and earlier worked on PCRF and Diameter
*CCNA, CCNP or equivalent IP Networking certification.
* Advanced knowledge of IP debug tools.
*Good communication skills requiring interaction with Europe customers

Skills:
*Excellent knowledge: SS7, GSM, 3G, PCRF, Diameter interfaces Gx, Rx, Cx and Sh
*Fundamental knowledge of HP Servers, Unix, Linux, Cisco networking, Wireless networks, SIP, LTE, VoLTE, VOIP.
*Expert knowledge of telecom networks and network elements.
