Technical Digital Strategist/Creative Technologist/Tech Manager

My client has actively sought out the leading minds within digital media with a view to further blurring the line between digital and people's everyday life. They now boast some of Sydney's leading authorities on Creative, Social Media, Strategy, Mobile and Digital Convergence.

THE ROLE:

- Working as a technical adviser to the business; sitting in between the Creative' s and Production, managing external development teams
- Advising the team and clients on what is technically possible
- Attend client meetings with Client Service to provide technical input - Technical strategy
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies/web trends/gadgets
- Manage 3rd party vendors for technical development and deliver
- From time-to-time you may also be called upon to help out the development team with hands on coding

THE PERSON:

- To be considered for the role you will need:
- Around 4-5 years experience working as a Technical Director/Leader or Creative Technologist within an agency type environment
- Strong technical background, R&D and up-to-date with the latest and greatest,
- A track record of end-to-end production of complex, technical web projects
- Excellent communication skills, Client facing, presenting and advising of technical solutions - able to lead conversations with both Development teams and Marketing stakeholders and translate between the two
- Deeply passionate about web technologies and digital trends. You are ideally a blogger or at the very least would have a few digital blogs that you regularly read
- This role is a very exciting opportunity to work with high profile clients at the very beginning of the process to strategies and create a digital solution - as a creative technologist you will manage the technical process.
