Technical/Customer Support (call Center - Product Services) Job

Yoh has a 24 MONTH PLUS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for a TECHNICAL/CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE to join our client in CARLSBAD, CA.

Notes:
- Client is a manufacturer of Veterinary medical devices.
- The position will involve TECHNICAL SUPPORT/CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN A CALL CENTER ENVIRONMENT.
- The main focus is on SOFTWARE/HARDWARE TROUBLESHOOTING in a technical support environment, and
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL IMAGING (ULTRASOUND, CT, AND RADIOLOGY) IS DESIRED.

Job Responsibilities:
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT/CUSTOMER SERVICE will utilize strong customer and technical support skills supporting Client's products and services to veterinary medical professionals.
- TROUBLESHOOT AND SOLVE SIMPLE TO HIGHLY COMPLEX HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE ISSUES- methodical troubleshooting approach with attention to detail.
- OPERATING SYSTEM AND APPLICATION INSTALLATION/CONFIGURATION - high level understanding of product functionality.
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT/CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL perform and facilitate the return of items under warranty with third party vendors (RMA's), coordinate maintenance repairs, and loaner service orders.
- Thorough and detailed issue tracking in customer relationship management software.
- Strong ability to MULTI-TASK- ENTER CASE NOTES DURING THE CALL.
- System MONITORING VIA REMOTE LOG IN.
- STRONG CALL CONTROL TECHNIQUE without sacrificing customer service.
- Provide customers with PRODUCT AND SERVICE INFORMATION- required to learn and understand wide range of products related to Equine and Small Animal services.
- Ability to successfully handle upset customers.

Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Recent experience with SOFTWARE TROUBLESHOOTING SUPPORTING EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS - END USER AND ENTERPRISE.
- STRONG PC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE OF MS APPLICATIONS. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Professional, and Windows 2003 Server is required.
- General or working knowledge in three (3) or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop, PACS, TCP/IP, DICOM, and CRM systems.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL IMAGING (ULTRASOUND, CT, AND RADIOLOGY) IS DESIRED.
- Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and professional.
- Technical certifications a plus (MCSE, MCP, or A+ and/or equivalent work experience).
- Typing skills: 40+ WPM.
