Technical Consultant/Workstream Specialist (Exchange Active Directory

Technical Consultant/Workstream Specialist needed for a 3 month initial term contract based in Central London.

My client is looking for an exceptional end user devices specialist to run the device workstream on a Technology Transformation Programme. 

Your work will cover user needs analysis. solutions architecture, security assessment, procurement and implementation for the following technical areas,

- Laptops, desktops and operation systems selection
- Standing data encryption and other device security
- Smartphones, tablets, with a focus on mobile device management (MDM) technologies

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Windows 7/8
- Exchange
- Mac
- VMware
- Active Directory

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with the business analysis team to capture the scope and user needs for the end user devices.
- Run the solutions analysis process to source, test and shortlist the best technology products to meet the user requirements. 
- This includes laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones.
- Build a team, or use third party services, to define, construct and release desktop builds.
- Provide early life support functions to end users throughout the programme.

The successful candidate will combine technical skills with a consultative approach and have the ability to both lead teams and work under your own supervision.
