My client requires a Technical Consultant with knowledge of SGI. They are working on a large File and content RFP and need a top technical consultant familiar with SGI/IRIX operating system, and even more important an expert at data management: IRIX CXFS File System and IRIX HSM solution (DMF). They require someone that knows UNIX from SGI but really know knows the storage, DMF and TMF and CXFS. For this particular project the SGI that is in place needs to be replaced and this needs to be migrated out of SGI to HCP, SGI system knowledge is essential to be able to do a smart migration from the original source, ie the knowledge of the design of the system how it may need to be manipulated to make sure the migration is successful.
