Technical Consultant Developer - Commodities

A leading software solutions provider in the field of commodity trading is looking for a strong technical consultant to work on some challenging projects.

They require a developer with several years of experience, who is an excellent communicator, and is willing to travel to work on new projects. You will have the opportunity to work in the full project life-cycle and really take the lead on the development of new projects. This position offers excellent training and the opportunity to work on global projects - including exposure to the full range of the trading spectrum e.g. investment banks, oil major and utilities.

It has fantastic potential for promotion, will allow you to build up your experiences with different technologies, and will give you a great insight into the business side.

To be considered for the position you must have experience working in development with J2SE V5 or above - and be used to working in multithreaded programming. You should also have strong conceptual knowledge of RDBMS e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, MySQL?Previous experience in banking or energy/commodities will be advantageous.
