Technical Consultancy Engineering Specialist

We are urgently recruiting for a Technical Consultancy Engineering Specialist to join our client located in Brussels, Belgium. This role is for +/- three (3) years, and we are looking for an immediate starter. Our client is in the public sector.

Nature of the tasks:
- Consultant on IT exchange of medical patients files between medical organisations
- Management of e-Health projects for exchange of medical data between medical organisations between Member States.

Knowledge and skills:
- Expert knowledge of HL7, SNOMED, and medical Information Technology systems interoperability profiles, IHE.
- Proven IT consultancy skills in medical Information Systems design and data exchange.
- Knowledge of electronic patient data exchange processes, procedures and implementations

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 9 years of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school
- Minimum 9 years of IT professional experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in architecture and design of information systems
- Minimum 3 years' experience in development of information systems
- Experience in IT project management

Specific expertise:
- Strong knowledge of HL7, IHE
- Knowledge of medical vocabularies such as SNOMED,

Language
- Excellent written and oral command of English Projects
- e-Health projects
