Technical Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract

My client who is a major Financial Institution has a need for a Technical Business Analyst to join on an initial 6 month contract.

Working alongside a highly functional Business Transformation team, you will be in the technical intermediary between the business and technical teams.

Your role will involve:

- Validation of business requirements and productions of functional specifications
- Elicit requirements from a range of stakeholders
- Develop and re-engineer procedures and processes to support business initiatives
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the system and software's to ensure business requirements are being met
- BAU support on the system and software issues
- Management of Vendors and other external parties in their deliverables
- Liase closely with the Development team to ensure all solutions are in line with specifications
- Building suitable test cases and ensuring the test team effectively test the system

The skills required:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in Business Analysis
- Technical Background and ability to understand requirements
- Strong communication skills to back up the technical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL server 2008 and the BI Stack
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Financial Services experience
