Technical Business Analyst

My client is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to work onsite at a large bank. You will be working on a transfer pricing project; this position will play an integral role in documenting the business solution for the project. This will require a close working relationship with project team members across analysis, development and testing functions, other Treasury project and Continuous Improvement ( CI') resources, such as those supplying source data for transfer pricing and risk reporting processes

THE RESOURCE WILL BE PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Facilitating further analysis of complex business problems and/or opportunities;
- Analysing complex business requirements and functional/technical specifications and translating these into application, interface, infrastructure, data and reporting solution designs;
- Recommending solutions that will enable client to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value;
- Defining and documenting changes to business processes, policies and information systems; and
- Supporting the solution designers, technical leads, analyst programmers and other project team members through the provision of technical writing skills and the delivery of technical project artefacts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Senior Business Analyst in major end-to-end business process re-engineering or business transformation initiatives;
- Senior Business Analyst in major information technology delivery projects ensuring solution enables business processes to deliver the desired business outcomes and value;
- Advanced analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting;
- Preparation of detailed technical documentation by liaising with technical and business resources; and
- Facilitation of business solution workshops involving participants from senior management to business users.
