Technical Author - Ipswich or London

TECHNICAL AUTHOR - IPSWICH OR LONDON

Two Technical Authors are needed to create new operational documentation for existing insurance processes and functions for a key transformation programme.

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

-working with subject matter experts to identify and document content for training materials, including operational procedures, QRGs, SOPs
- collect relevant, often very complex, information

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-be a proven Technical Author
-excellent written and spoken English
-clear, concise and organised writing style
-strong verbal communication skills
- the ability to research and analyse complex technical and non-technical information
- the ability to absorb information quickly and structure it logically
- the ability to read operational processes and ensure alignment to materials
- an organised and methodical approach
- accuracy and attention to detail
- ability to meet deadlines
- IT skills
- excellent interpersonal skills and team working skills
- good problem solving skills
- an Insurance background would be highly desirable

The roles can be based full time in Ipswich or based in London with travel to Ipswich 2/3 days per week.
