Technical Author - Agile, ITIL - Leeds, Yorkshire

Experienced TECHNICAL AUTHOR required for Public Sector organisation based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE SIGNIFICANT AND CURRENT EXPERIENCE AS TECHNICAL AUTHOR WORKING ON A VARIETY OF IT PROJECTS, WITHIN AN AGILE ENVIRONMENT.

You will have worked closely with a range of stakeholders, assess the audience and nature of the documentation required and producing technical documents that meet their needs.

YOU WILL HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE OF TRANSLATING COMPLEX TECHNICAL INFORMATION IN THE CONTEXT OF SERVICE MANAGEMENT ITIL PROCESSES, ALONG WITH THE ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WITH TECHNICAL, NON-TECHNICAL AND SERVICE STAKEHOLDERS AND RESPOND TO URGENT REQUIREMENTS.

An understanding/knowledge of SQL Databases, open source products, Java or C# or Python would be advantageous, as would knowledge of enterprise architecture.

The role will involve producing infrastructure design documentation with technical details on solution to support all Service Management requirements including but not limited to:- hosting, network, Servers and DR design. You will collaborate with developers and managers to gain technical clarity, liaise with subject matter experts and suggest structure/content of the documents in line with the audience needs.
