Technical Author

TECHNICAL AUTHOR

Our global banking customer is looking for a technical author with a good background in business environments, producing business/operational processes and procedures.

Experience and skills required:

- Good experience producing business processes and procedures from source material.
- Good understanding of creating well-structured, audience-focused documentation.
- Experience complying with corporate editorial and writing standards.
- Experience of working on large, complex projects, and bringing technical communications best practice to these projects.
- Experience working in large, global organisations.
- Experience working in banking, financial services or customer services environments is advantageous.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple demands and work to deadlines.
- Good team working skills, with the ability to liaise with SMEs and colleagues at all levels.
- Good MS Office skills and familiarity with a variety of writing and publishing tools.

Contracts are six months to start, with extensions likely.
