Technical Author/11 Month Contract/S1000/Telford/£28.67 Ltd per hour

My client is a well respected and highly successful market leader who is currently experiencing an ongoing period of growth and success. Due to an ever increasing workload, they are looking to recruit a Technical Author to join their dedicated team of professionals to be based out of their impressive operations in Telford, Shropshire. This is an initial 11 month contract and is paying £28.67ltd per hour.

Job Description

The candidate will have firm understanding, backed by work experience and qualification in the following:
*Electro/mechanical background.
*Knowledge of UK MoD IETP specifications and requirements.
*Thorough understanding of and competence in application of ASD S1000D (preferably Issue 2.2).
*Understanding and experience of the application of program Business Rules to data module production.
*Able to write and/or amend Procedural, Descriptive, Operating, Wiring Data, Fault Isolation and IPD Data Modules, or other as required, including production of author draft illustrations/graphics.
*Very competent at creating .sgml and/or .XML Data Modules using Adobe Framemaker 8 XML using Mekon Eclipse Create S1000D Version 6.1.
*Working knowledge of and familiarity with working under iLOG AcquirED Task Station or similar CSDB.
