Technical Architect

For one of our clients in Sodertalje, Sweden we are looking for a Technical Architect. Must be a Swedish Speaker.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for translating the client's requirements into specific Infrastructure architectures for large complex solution. This candidate will be the ultimate authority on the solution designed to address customer requirements
In a large complex project which requires architecture and design the candidate should
o Capture the functional and non-functional requirements
o Validate the requirements
o The candidate should have the ability to evaluate various technology options to optimize the solution
o The candidate should work very closely with different principal vendors to ensure the right solution is suggested to the customer in the large complex projects
o The candidate should be in a position to single handedly build a high level and low level design
o The candidate should be in a position to build the high level and low level design and provide inputs
o The candidate should be able to present the solution to the customer and take a final sign-off
Work within a cross-functional team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning of solutions
Should have a good understanding of Data center/Data and Application migration strategies
The candidate should have the ability to present the solution to wider audience
The candidate should have good understanding of best practices that can be suggested and implemented into a design
The candidate should develop reusable components such as Reference Architectures, Technical reference models, Design patterns, High/low level design, Hardware and software standards

Required Experience:
The candidate should have performed a role of solution architect for at least 4-5 years
The candidate should have overall IT experience of 10-12 years
The candidate should have worked on large complex deals which involved integration across multiple technologies

Required Technology Skills
Experience in at least two IT disciplines which including technical architecture in network design, Servers, storage, backup, voice and end user computing
The candidate should have cross skills in multiple technologies and experience in building and validating complex IT infrastructure solution
Experience in Architecture and Design of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen)
Understanding of cloud computing concepts
Good experience of Storage and backup design
Fundamentals of Data center and its associated concepts
Good understanding of Active Directory, LDAP and Disaster recovery concepts

Other requirements
Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent
Certification on TOGAF or other Architecture frameworks is a must
Good verbal and written skills
Good experience in creating presentation and presenting it to customers

Start Date: 05-01-2015
Contract Length: 3-6 months with possibility of extension
