TECHNICAL ARCHITECT/SENIOR DEVELOPER

Technical Architect/Senior Developer wanted for our client in Zurich to participate in the development of a business critical system.

YOUR TASKS:

- Having influence on the technical choices and solutions of the developing system
- Leveraging new technologies to improve quality and reduce risk - Scala, Git, Vaadin
- Regular business contact - direct communication with the business to resolve problems
- Shaping improvements to our production quality and deployment story
- Working on technical challenges on strategic projects (eg Regulatory)

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Deep full-life cycle experience of project/product life cycle with experience on technical and infrastructure requirements gathering
- Experience with Application ownership, SCM tools (Git/SVN), JIRA and quality tools
- Solid understanding of Oracle or similar enterprise DB and Build systems such as Maven
- Profound experience in Java - J2SE, JEE as well as in Middleware technologies - MQ/TIBCO
- Solution space experience in multi-threading, Web/GUI technologies (Vaadin/JSF/Play), ORMs/JDBC, integration tools
- Understanding of project/risk management techniques and processes
- Ability to explain deep technical concepts in a simple way
