Technical Architect -Infrastructure Contract Dublin 3-6 months
My client a leading name in their respected industry is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Technical Architect to come on board on a contract basis of 3-6 months
You will be required to manage the Technical Architecture Workstream and provide Technical Architecture inputs to the Application Analysis to help ensure vendor designs fit with overall technical architecture.
You Will also Provide non-hosting Technical Architecture inputs to Hosting and the you will be required to produce following deliverables:- Technical Architecture Specification/Application Architecture Specification/Hardware & infrastructure requirements and Environment Planning
Other technical competencies my client will look for will be experience with:- Skills Required:
Strong technical expertise in Infrastructure and Data Centre design. Email system design. Citrix design. Active Directory Design. Network design. Strong interpersonal skills. Good Project Management skills.
Experience:
Min 5 years in infrastructure design role.
Responsibility:
*Manage, support and coordinate the process of gathering, refining and agreeing the Non-functional requirements for the programme with inputs from client.
*Facilitate the Hosting vendor selection process
*Provide Technical Architecture input to RFP and Vendor selection process for new hosting provider and new applications
You will also Create Architecture Design for the programme:
*Develop a Support Model
*Develop a Hosting Solution Design (including MS Outlook, Citrix, Network design, Active Directory, Hardware selection)
*Assist in Migration Planning of existing infrastructure to new hosting provider
*Undertake an Initial On-site Data centre assessment
