Technical Architect Core Network Service Layer

JOB DESCRIPTION

For one of our customers we are recruiting for a Technical Architect Core Network/Service Layer.

We are looking for experienced Technical Architects in the Circuit Switched domain.
As Technical Architect you report to the team manager, technical manager and/or project manager. You are responsible to fulfil the customer requirements in the technical designs and provide guidance of the correct implementation and handover to the team of implementation engineers.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To perform High Level and Low Level design for integration of new nodes as well as new services within the customers network
- To take part in implementation projects where needed to help out with field adaptations
- Test activities in our test center as well as pilot activities for changes in the field
- Pro-active knowledge sharing
- Documentation of the designs made

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN BOTH THE CORE DOMANIN AND SERVICE LAYER DOMAIN;
- CANDIDATES SHOULD PREFERABLY HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND WORKING FOR AN OPERATOR.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

- Master/Bachelor degree (technical/telecommunication)
- In-depth knowledge of Circuit Switched Networks
- Proven Experience as Solution Architect
- Strong knowledge and experience with one or more of the following areas:
- Design and coordination of interconnects to 3rd party networks
- Knowledge of and experience with Agilent
- Multi Mediation solutions (Billing, Provisioning, and so on)
- In-depth knowledge and several years of experience with Data Transcripts
- Knowledge of Centralized IMS Services (SRVCC) is a pre
- Good knowledge of Circuit Switch, including:
- Ericsson Media GateWays
- Ericsson MSC-Server including Blade Cluster
- Ericsson HLR/CUDB
- Signalling solutions
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in the Telecommunications Industry
- Fluent in English both in writing as verbally.
