Technical Architect - Business Intelligence

- Applicants will need to maintain a security clearance level of Secret or above
- Cognos experience required including including cubes, reports and dashboards
- Contract till end June 2014

The HR data warehouse development team has a requirement for an appropriately skilled Cognos Business Intelligence Developer with experience in IBM Cognos 8 and 10 across the full range of the Cognos suite of tools.  It is preferable that the resource also have experience in the implementation, configuration, administration and sustainment of a Cognos platform.

This resource will primarily be required to back fill work effort generated by existing development team resources diverted from BAU activities to undertake JP2080 1A development work.

Position Specific Criteria

Technical Architect (Business Intelligence Developer)
Either individually, or as part of a team, analyse, design and build products for the delivery of HR information from HR warehouse and associated systems using the IBM Cognos 8 (and 10) suite of tools including cubes, reports and dashboards.
Mentor team members and clients in the use and best practice approaches for the development of information products using the Cognos suite of tools
Assist with the design, installation, configuration, management and documentation of IBM Cognos software as required for upgrades and new capability.
Work and contribute as a member of a multi disciplined team applying Agile work-practices/techniques, including the provision of mentoring and skills transfer, and;
Assist warehouse business analysts with the analysis and modelling of structures for the capture and reporting of HR information from various HR information source
