TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (APPLICATION MIGRATION) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
LANGUAGES: ENGLISH with DUTCH and/or FRENCH (bilingual)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 9-15 years of relevant experience
- Experience in datacenter moves of infrastructure network transformation
- Studied at a Bachelor level or Master level
- Strong understanding across technology infrastructure domains:
- Data Center and networking technologies:
- Compute, storage, virtualization, directory services
- Unix/Linux/AIX/Windows platforms
- Oracle, SQL Database
- Workstation
- Security on a network level
- Strong in documenting and communicating technology standards and solutions
- Project Lead knowledge and/or experience
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Challenge technical detailed design proposed by the IT Infrastructure provider
- Ensure detailed technical review
- Validate the application mapping on the new infrastructure
- Define detailed migration scenario and planning
- Lead different projects by waves/stream of application migration
- Track the issues and report to the program manager
